Feed the Need Food Drive for MLK Jr. Day of Service
Where: Hands on Hartford, 55 Bartholomew Ave, Hartford, CT 06106
Date: Monday, January 18, 2021, 12 noon – 2:00 PM ET
Greater Hartford Jack and Jill is partnering with Hands on Hartford again to organize a food parade drop-off of in-kind donations (see list below) and a virtual drive to send financial contributions directly to HOH so they can purchase food in bulk: https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/hoh2017donate
If your family is participating in the food parade, please drop off any of the following items during the designated time above:
- Peanut Butter & Jelly
- Canned Fruit & Vegetables (especially fruit in light syrup or water)
- Canned soups and stews (especially light or low sodium varieties)
- Pasta & Sauce (especially whole wheat pasta)
- Tuna canned in water
- Condiments
- Juice Boxes
- Fruit Cups (in water)
- Apple sauce cups or pouches
- Individual Snacks (pretzels, popcorn, or goldfish)
- Granola Bars (no peanuts or peanut butter, please)
- Individual Boxes of cereal
- Oatmeal packets
- Macaroni & Cheese boxes
- Cans of Chicken Noodle Soup
Together, we will work to combat food insecurity in Connecticut and Feed those in need!
