Cook and serve Sunday Brunch at Peter's Retreat

We are looking for groups or leaders to be responsible for planning, cooking and serving a meal (either as a one time event, an open once a month availability, or to make a commitment to come one particular Saturday a month for several months.)
You can either sign up as a meal leader, or you can sign up assist in the kitchen and to help serve the food.
People with kitchen experience or people with experience cooking for a large group of people are extremely helpful!
3-4 people are needed to cook and serve the buffet style Brunch. This is a prefect opportunity for a group of friends, co-workers, families looking to reach out and connect with their local community. There will be plenty of extra time to have conversations with residents or even a game of pool. Peter's Retreat is a congregate living facility for people living with HIV/AIDS.
* We ask that all volunteers sign up at least 2-3 weeks prior to volunteering so we can better accommodate you and the residents. If you have not volunteered in the kitchen before, it is necessary to have a pre-service kitchen orientation -- to be completed before the day you serve!
